"Cowboy by Day" by Gerardo Rodriguez

Puerto Rican artist Gerardo Rodriguez has spent the past decade in South Austin creating a monsterful world of familiar yet otherworldly characters - from friendly, one-eyed giants to playful, finger-gun cowboys. Drawing on his background in film, photography, and graphic design, he approaches each acrylic painting like a still from a larger story. His bold, narrative-driven work lives between the familiar and the surreal, inviting viewers into the distinctive worlds of his monsters, cowboys, and other imaginative creations. @grzmonsters
